Originally this was supposed to be a travel day, but thanks to our excellent time on the last two days of driving we were booked into our Hollywood hotel a day early and spent the whole day just wandering around Hollywood and the surrounding area. (more…)

Ok! This one from the girl’s point of view!

We had a lovely but long day today! Started off in Redding with the smallest breakfast in history. Got right on the road and didn’t really stop (not including rest stops) until we got lost in Pleasanton. Not so pleasant! Got some much needed fuel and some DELICIOUS candies called Mamba’s and headed on to Mountain View, South of San Francisco. (more…)

Sorry I haven’t posted in a long time, been doing the whole finishing undergrad thing and then staying with the folks for the summer. We’re on our way back to Ontario now, and I’ll be updating as often as I get a chance now that I’m sans-smartphone. Major recent news: I’m doing my Masters at the University of Waterloo with Rob Gorbet, Sarah is doing the Craft and Design - Glass program at Sheridan, and we have a 3 floor, 2 bedroom townhouse for the duration!
